Being organic, as you may know, provides a number of ethical benefits over conventional agriculture.

• food is grown without harmful fertilisers or pesticides
• crops are rotated and the natural ecology enabled to become more diverse
• the produce tastes better than conventional vegetables - not least because it is grown in real soil and not over irrigated

Since moving to Werndolau we have experienced a big increase in the number and variety of birds (now that the hedgerows have been able to grow) as well as more wild plants and flowers.

By buying from us you are literally buying direct from an organic farm. Much of the produce you receive is:

• grown in our 60 metre polytunnels
• travels only a few hundred yards across the field to our packing barn - not many food miles there!
• mainly delivered overnight

The money received from the sales goes directly to the growers and is used to increase the production of organic food.

We have been able to build the business because not only do we supply direct from our own and other local farms, we also provide the flexibility which you, the consumers, want.

• no need to have a delivery each week
• say what you want in your set price bag
• order exactly what you want from our weekly list of over 35 different sorts of vegetables and fruit

In addition, there is no minimum order as we deliver many bags usually in a small area.
